Aliexpress Shipping: If you’ve ever shopped on AliExpress, you’ve probably found yourself wondering, “How long will it take for my package to get here?” As someone who’s placed plenty of orders from AliExpress over the years, I’ve learned that the answer can vary quite a bit. In this post, I’ll share my personal experience with AliExpress shipping to the United States, including tracking details and real examples from my order history. Whether you’re a first-time shopper or a seasoned buyer looking for more insights, this guide will help you get a clearer picture of what to expect when waiting for those packages to arrive.

Why order from Aliexpress
The reason for ordering from Aliexpress is simple: It is cheaper by far. Surprisingly, many of products on Amazon are actually the exactly same items you can buy directly from China on Aliexpress for cheaper price.
Not everything is cheaper on Aliexpress nor is better than ones on Amazon, but for certain categories of products, it is generally a good idea to buy directly from Aliexpress, usually inexpensive products not related to health that require a heavy regulations.

Estimated shipping time
Aliexpress offer multiple shipping options, but the majority of the items are shipped via either what is called Aliexpress Standard Shipping or Aliexpress Selection Standard. Both options aren’t very different that buyers should care which option is offered.
The shipping is estimated to take roughly 10~13 days from the point the item is sent out by the seller in China. At the point of writing this post, Nov. 24th, the shipping is estimated to arrive between Dec. 3rd ~ 6th via .
While this roughly 2 weeks of shipping is mostly correct, it isn’t as consistent as that of Amazon. In unlucky instances, it may have a problem during the process that it may take far more than the estimated time. Therefore, if you urgently need the item, it is not a good idea to rely on Aliexpress order.
USPS is usually the final carrier
Although the details on the logistics may be very complicated that it isn’t practically possible to understand easily, it is apparently true that a batch of items are shipped to China to US then distributed after. After items arrive US, it is USPS that usually takes the role of delivering them to the final addresses.
For this reason, you often get a long tracking number for USPS when you order items from Aliexpress that is initially not in the system until they arrive US. If you see ‘Label Created, not yet in system’ when tracking the aliexpress shipping, it will start to show more information when it arrives US and gets processed.
Aliexpress Shipping – How long does it actually take
To provide a better sense of how long the shipping actually takes to arrive in US, I am listing my actual Aliexpress shipping history from my orders. All orders here are shipped to my address in Michigan.

My most recent batch of order was made on Nov. 7th, and the items were sent out on the next day, Nov. 8th. It was a batch of more than five items from different sellers on Aliexpress that were packed in one plastic bag, so I assume it needed additional time to collect them in one place first in China.

This order was made during the busiest time in China’s logistics because Aliexpress was on the biggest sale of the year around the Nov. 11th. It is usually when they get multiple times more orders than usual that the shipping is expected to take more than usual.

Aliexpress Shipping Summary
From my recent five orders from Aliexpress, most of which were Aliexpress Selection Standard, the delivery took roughly 10 days. Some orders took a few days more, some others took a few days less. Keep in mind that orders from Aliexpress occasionally takes unexpectedly longer than the usual 10 days due to various problems.
